As Executive Lounge Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the aspects of the Club Lounge function to deliver a memorable service that makes our VIP or Rewards guests feel at home. You will assist the Club Lounge Manager in supervising, guiding and coaching the Club Lounge team members to achieve operational efficiency in the Club Lounge.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Assisting Club Lounge Manager to oversee day-to-day operations to deliver high level of service for our guests consistently
- Retrieving guest arrival report from Merlin and liaise with F&B team on amenities, room blocking as per guests’ preferences
- Maintaining cashier float, ensure accurate daily report of money received and performs audit balances in accordance to accounting policies and procedures
- Maintaining standard of behaviour, appearance, and attitude in accordance with the hotel’s brand
- Conducting daily beverage inventory and other inventories as required by management prior to closing the Club Lounge for the day
- Greeting all guests in a friendly and helpful manner and attempts to learn and use guest’s name at every opportunity
- Coordinating with other departments to provide excellent service delivery
- Attending to guest’s complaints, inquiries, and requests and if there is a complaint that needs assistance, refer to the Club Lounge Manager or the Duty Manager
- Preparing buffet set-up for breakfast and evening cocktail and providing host or hostess service to our club paying guest at the Club Lounge
- Ensuring proper decorations and food are displayed in order
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the Club Lounge and pantry area
What we need from you
- A minimum qualification in GCE O levels
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures regarding e-mails, messages and how to interpret availability sources within the reservation systems
- Fluency in spoken English language. Knowledge in an extra language skill would be great, but not essential
- Motivated individual with a friendly personality
- Strong knowledge on Singapore and places for recommendation to business travellers/ tourists in creating a memorable hotel experience for them
- Strong interpersonal skills
