The Company

The company is a prominent player in the shipping industry with a network of offices in international locations. They are now looking to recruit an Accounts Payable specialist to be part of their team.

The Position

Reporting and working closely with Finance Manager, the AP Specialist will be responsible for the processing and payment of supplier’s invoices with the need to ensure that all invoices are properly documented and promptly recorded. The AP Specialist will ensure the accuracy of the creditor’s statement and reconciliation are done on a timely manner.

The Person

To succeed in this role, candidates should ideally have at least five-years of working experience, ideally gained from Accounts Payable. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, independent and the ability to partner with the business. JOB DESCRIPTION:-

• Responsible for the maintenance of IT infrastructure systems such as Dell’s servers and storage;
• Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure that the infrastructure is monitored, patched and in good health;
• Work with the Infrastructure team to ensure that the company's servers and storages is reliable and scalable;
• Monitor the company's IT infrastructure for performance and availability issues by applying the latest patches;
• Liaise with various vendors to ensure troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues;
• Generate monthly reports on performance and utilization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:-

• Min. Diploma or degree in Computer science, or equivalent;
• At least 3 years and above of experience in IT storage management;
• Dell EMC Unity Storage experience is a must;
• Strong understanding of Storage concepts like RAID and LUN;
• Good knowledge and experience with DELL storages like VNX, Unity, Powerstore and PowerMax;
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ability to multi-task;
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal skills and good problem solving ability;

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Responsible for day-to-day admin works.
• Reply and follow up customer required.
• Handle incoming email, prepare & submit quotation / tender.
• Prepare and generate invoices, delivery order and sales order using MYOB
• Ensure and keeping proper filing of documentations
• working hour : Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm.

• Responsible for achieving the stipulated sales target set by company.
• Formulate offline sales strategy, develop, and organize the implementation of a comprehensive sales plan, lead the team to translate the plan into sales results.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities by identifying and targeting potential customers in the enterprise software market, with a preference for those needing Edutech and Office Automation (OA) systems solution.
• Stay informed about software industry trends, competitive services, and market conditions.
• Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing/new clients to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Preferred qualifications include 5 years or more of B2B software sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets. Prior sales experience in the Edutech and OA office software industry is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must maintain high professional and technical knowledge standard.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin for interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients or staff at the China branch.
