RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, tax audit / inquiries and notices from tax authorities, GST/VAT and withholding tax
• Lead implementation of Pillar 2 compliance for the Group
• Assist the group to comply with transfer pricing rules and plan comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies through the use of Organisation for Economic Cooperation (OECD) guidelines' and Singapore transfer pricing guidelines' methodologies.
• Manage all Singapore GST matters for the group ensuring tax compliance with GST regulations
• Provide advice on all tax matters including day-to-day tax planning and advisory / operational business support, review of commercial contracts and cross-border transactions, tax reporting and tax due diligence.
• Monitor and analyse the impact of proposed and newly enacted tax legislation on the business in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Identify tax efficient opportunities and assist with all aspects of tax strategy management, business acquisition and restructuring initiatives, tax efficient structuring and mitigation of tax risks.
• Support the tax provisioning process for the finance team.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate and international shipping tax with prior experience in Big 4
• Familiar with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Singapore Transfer Pricing guidelines.
• Degree in Accountancy or its' equivalent or any professional tax qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage regular reports from vessels assigned to him/her and file them in a structured manner.
• Review and follow up on routine reports from the vessel.

• Assist in carrying out technical analysis for new purchases.

Requirements:

• Min 4-6 years of experience in similar capacity on container vessels (a mix of containers and tankers will be considered).
• Recognised marine engineering or naval architecture qualification either at sea or educational establishment
• Good understanding of shore-based activities and implications surrounding the role
• Able to administer technical and budgetary requirements
• Competent using Microsoft office and other computer software
• Prior experience as chief or second engineer with sailing experience preferably on container vessels. Otherwise, sailing experience on cargo ships (container/bulk carrier/tanker) is required.
• Prior experience in dry-docking.
• Candidate should have good knowledge of Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Safety Management System (SMS)

PURPOSE

This role will be one of the main contributors towards developing FWD’s Product strategy innovation and position as thought leader in the market.

He/she will be responsible for generating and managing the development of new propositions and solutions driven from customer insights emerging trends and market opportunities that support the strategic growth areas and address customer needs across all FWD markets, in line with FWD’s vision of changing the way people feel about insurance.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

Market Research and Analysis

• Be responsible for the sourcing and production of regional research ensuring these are designed to gain deep insights on customer behaviour and traits that can be used to develop or improve future propositions across markets for target consumer segments
• Collaborate with other group office functions to develop research and insights and identify opportunities that are customer led and align to Company, brand and Distribution strategy
• Assess and analyze competitor and market developments and share insights to inform group and BU product strategy and identify the white space.
• Develop and manage market intelligence and competitor reporting and distribute to senior management commenting on the market and competitor trends and providing recommendations resulting in actionable insights.
• Own and undertake bespoke research to support the GPP team and local Bus as required.

Proposition Strategy

Strategy development:

• As a subject matter expert, provide guidance to countries on strategy and innovation
• Development of templates and tools to enhance countries’ capabilities in their end-to-end development of product strategy
• Support any initiatives related to product propositions strategy when required
• Work closely with group departments including group strategy to ensure that proposition strategy is aligned to group strategy and business planning
• Synthesize ideas and core capabilities and input into commercialization plans for innovative strategic solutions working with Business partners, local product heads and group office teams
• Develop proposition strategies for all products in the A+H, protection, savings and investment and retirement space, developing playbooks along with monitoring of key performance targets in alignment with overall priorities for FWD group.

Proposition Innovation

• Proposition development: lead new initiatives to identify and drive proposition development based on customer needs and insights, segmentation and economic environment to help Bus achieve their Business plans
• Develop external network with consultants, reinsurers and research houses to identify key and upcoming trends across the consumer segments, HNW, Middle class Affluent and mass
• Provide and analyse reports to monitor the success of propositions launched and make recommendations to management following the identification of trends.
• Support initiatives to increase awareness of unmet insurance needs of customers, i.e. customers who prefer online insurance purchase, and devise strategies and solutions in responding to their unmet needs. This includes increasing insurance purchases as well as cross-selling and upselling opportunities
• Provide reporting, plans, presentations as required to support adhoc projects
• Work with external third parties to identify and source potential value added services to support customer led propositions
• Work with internal stakeholders to drive AI solutions to improve e2e propositions for local markets
• Develop and execute on behavioural science use cases to improve customer engagement, usage understanding and purchase of insurance products

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Degree holder e.g. MBA, CFA or actuarial qualification (graduates in business, strategy or management would be an advantage).
• Over 10 years of experience in insurance and financial services specializing in consultancy, product development, customer engagement or customer journey management
• Working experience in a regional office with proven track record of leading and delivering regional initiatives to countries would be an advantage.
• Experience of working with a highly entrepreneurial and rapidly growing start-up/ e-commerce businesses
• Consultancy experience in financial services would be an advantage

• Senior FSM is responsible for ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations and maintaining all fire safety systems. This includes overseeing the implementation of the building's emergency response plan, conducting regular inspections and fire drills, and ensuring fire safety certification requirement are met.

Job Description

You will be part of the NUS College administrative team working closely with the Vice Dean (Outreach) as well as team leads and team members to oversee, optimise and strengthen administrative processes throughout the Outreach pillar, and provide support in selected outreach efforts. The incumbent is expected to develop internal policies and procedures, establish and implement robust administrative systems, and ensure audit compliance for these systems, including systems related to undergraduate admissions processes. Duties and Responsibilities

Admissions

• Oversee and establish proper file systems and workflows for the NUS College admissions process, focusing in particular on optimising existing workflows and allowing multiple team members to work together, as well as on audit compliance for the entire admissions process, including the end-to-end processing of applications from thousands of candidates and following through until accepted students matriculate
• Lead in internal and external audit reviews

About the role

The Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, Singapore will be a key member of the Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) team, assisting with the development and oversight of the company’s regulatory compliance framework and ensuring alignment with applicable laws and standards.

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), you will have extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements in Financial Services, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations in Singapore, and industry best practices related to compliance program management and regulatory oversight.

In this role, you will be a senior member of the GRC team and will provide inputs in implementing and maintaining the company’s regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and compliance assurance programs. This includes ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, managing regulatory audits and inspections, and serving as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities in Singapore. You will also provide strategic advice and compliance guidance to senior leadership and business teams to support sustainable growth while mitigating compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the CCO in maintaining and enhancing a robust regulatory compliance framework for the organisation, ensuring alignment with Finmo’s obligations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering and Operations, to embed compliance considerations into business operations and product development.
• Oversee the execution of regulatory control reviews, including Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessments (EWRA), regulatory obligations Gap-Analysis, as well as ensuring continuous evaluation of regulatory risks across the organization.

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience within a regulatory compliance role in financial services, technology, law enforcement, or a government agency, with deep expertise in Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management;
• Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of global regulatory frameworks, including AML/CFT practices, while collaborating with regulators, merchants, third-party payment processors, and banking partners in the Fintech and Payments sector;
• Extensive technical knowledge and experience with Regulatory Compliance requirements globally, including expertise in cross-border payments, financial institutions, payments, money service businesses, and banking compliance.
