[What you will be working on]

You will be reporting to the Team Lead, Workplace Innovation Team. In this role, you will be part of the team to identify and drive initiatives that align with SportSG’s workplace transformation strategy. This may involve work in the areas of process innovation, change management, organisational development and culture building.

In this role, you will,

• Identify areas of alignment and misalignment between an organisation’s strategies and its current and desired culture

• Manage internal communications to drive engagement and support organization transformation changes.

• Identify process improvement opportunities that align with SportSG’s Transformation approach.  Lead key process improvement projects, as identified in TO’s workplan,

• Design a plan to effectively support the acceptance and adoption of medium-scale change and transitions.

• Lead analysis to identify patterns in data, explore correlations, transformation of data to derive insights and recommendations.

[What you will be working on]

• Thought leader in the areas of risk management, business continuity, ops-tech integration and use of technology and AI and apply best/good practices to NCSS.

• Lead the design, development and implementation of strategies, plans and initiatives in risk management, business continuity and leverage technology and AI in NCSS.

• Lead in the engagement and consultation with Divs in NCSS on the continuous review strategies, plans and initiatives in risk management, business continuity and leverage technology and AI in NCSS, to remain relevant and current.

• Lead in the conduct of communications and engagement sessions with staff on risk management, business continuity and use of technology and AI in NCSS, to build awareness and deepen ownership.

• Lead in the building and deepening of risk management, business continuity and use of technology and AI as a work culture in NCSS.

• Lead in the design and co-ordination of delivery of competency-based programmes on risk management, business continuity and use of technology and AI.

• Lead in the regular conduct of table-top exercises and simulation exercises to stretch-test the risk management and business continuity plans including After Action Review Sessions

• Lead in the briefings and engagements with Board, EXCO, SMT and staff on work related to risk management, business continuity and use of technology and AI.

Experience:

At least 10 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in a Leadership/Managerial position with practical experience in risk management/business continuity.
 

Special Certification(s):

ISO31000 (ERM), ISO22301 (BCMS) will be an added advantage.

Key duties and responsibility that need to be performned to meet the primary objective of the job.This will include the important result areas (what along with the rationale (why).

- Relationship manager to assigned divisions within the district.

- Work closely with the Constituency Offices of assigned divisions in providing social and employment assistance to the needy within the division.

- Attend CDC, CCC and social services-related meetings/events to provide prompt and direct service to stakeholders in assigned divisions.

- Develop an in-depted knowledge of the characteristics of each of the assigned division in the district and identifies opportunities for collaboration.

- Assist Team Leader in executing plans for the development of CDC to achieve community goals.

- Develop and execute district level CDC projects and joint-projects with CDC community partners such as Grassroots Organisations, community partners, schools, government bodies and non-government organisaitns.

- Engage in research, needs assessments, and gather data to build institutional knowledge to enhance effectiveness of CDC projects.

- Provide administrative/logistical support to projects organisaed by PA Headquarters.

- Provide administrative/logistical support and guidance to the Standing Committees and project joint partners to facilitate effective implementation of their activities.

- Provide accurate record of the Standing Committee meetings in minutes.

Key responsibilities include:
 

Training for PA Staff and GRLs

• Supports the conduct of courses (face-to-face, virtual or blended) to enhance the capabilities of GRLs and PA Staff.

• Assists to prepare training materials (facilitator’s guide, learner’s guide, PowerPoint, e-learning course wares etc) and learning aids (learning posters, videos, activity props, etc) for the conduct of the course.

• Assists in reviewing the course through evaluation forms, surveys and focus group discussions with learners.

Management and Organisation of Training Programme

• Manages all training supplies, activity props and learning aids.

• Works in taskforces and project teams to enhance NACLI’s training quality.

• Collates and reports GRL and PA Staff training data such as course schedules, course runs, attendance, number of learners, learners’ profiles etc.

• Compiles data on speakers’ profiles for leadership dialogues / Community of Practices (CoPs) and leadership programmes, where relevant.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaises with NACLI departments, PA Divisions (Constituency Offices, HQ Divisions, etc) and vendors to facilitate and implement GRL and PA staff courses.

• Liaises with NACLI departments, PA divisions and vendors to schedule training dates, coordinate venue for training, and ensure all administrative and logistics support are provided to create a conducive learning environment for learners and facilitators.

Finance & Support

• Assists in procurement process such as preparing specifications for GeBIZ ITQs, selection committees and awarding of contracts in liaison with NACLI’s Training Operations department.
   
• Provides secretariat or manpower support for meetings and other NACLI programmes which may be conducted during weeknights and weekends.

• Minimum - Professional qualification or formal training in training and development, education, research or business management-related discipline

• Minimum - At least six months related working experience in training and development, education, research or business management and practical knowledge in training coordination and management

• Desired - One year related working experience in training and development, education, research or business management and practical knowledge in training coordination and management

[What you will be working on:]
•    Manage Product Users’ Engagement by supporting Product Managers in developing strategies and plans to engage internal and external stakeholders to launch, implement, drive adoption, awareness, and education of Products, such as NLB Mobile App, Seat Booking System, Express Borrowing Gantry, and also future Products such as Content Discovery app. 
•    Assist Product Managers to collect and collate Product data from multiple channels, e.g., web statistics, app statistics, user feedback and perform basic analysis to help Product Managers better understand the asks and needs of the users with simple insights. Work closely with other data teams to track results and translate insights into actions.
•    Assist Product Managers in managing the Product Backlog by recording new user stories and setting initial priority for them. Follow up with Product Managers to set up regular Product Backlog refinement sessions.
•    Assist Product Managers or ScrumMasters in organising agile activities and to update/ upkeep Agile tools like JIRA, etc.

•    At least one year of relevant working experience, preferably in a product-focused organisation. Fresh graduates with the relevant knowledge are welcomed to apply.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to engage stakeholders from all walks of life.
•    Knowledge of agile methodologies and processes (SCRUM, KANBAN, etc.)
•    Comfortable with data and possess basic data analytic skills (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
•    Interest in growing into Product Manager role.
•    Design skills and experience with design tools is added advantage.

Work location will be at the Marine Parade Public Library. As the library is currently closed for renovation, the current work location is at the National Library Building.

Successful applicant will be appointed on a project contract until 31 Dec 2025.
