The Role

Custody Operations Manager is responsible for managing the custody framework to safeguard funds maintained in the Trust account on behalf of investors. The incumbent submits custody reports to senior management for management oversight, and ensures the custody processes comply with the regulations and the Group policies and procedures. This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Managing the custody framework for complying with regulatory, policy standards and procedures
• Perform regular reviews of the custody services and systems
• Escalate any potential issues to the senior management
• Monitor the safekeeping and movement of customers’ monies in Trust account
• Ensures timely reconciliation of the funds in the Trust account
• Process funds withdrawn from Trust account based on investors’ authorisation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate custody services within Chintai
• Stay up to date with industry best practice and compliance requirements
• Provide support to internal stakeholders on custody-related matters

ACRES is seeking a seasoned fundraiser to join its tight-knit team. In this role, the fundraiser will use expert communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, manage fundraising campaigns, and develop relationships with donors and supporters. By coordinating events, writing proposals, and recruiting and leading volunteers, the fundraiser will hone speaking, writing, and leadership abilities while meeting ACRES’s financial targets.

Objectives of this role

• Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to help the organisation meet financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Research individuals, corporations, and foundations that are interested in philanthropic programmes.
• Strategise and manage regular activities for individual donors, corporations, and general fundraising programmes through donor stewardship and analyses.
• Ensure that the donor database is kept up-to-date by entering data on income streams.
• Track the goals and expenditures of grants, prepare and present impact reports.
• Collate data of all fundraising activities for internal reporting purposes.
• Keep donors informed and engaged through various platforms, including quarterly newsletters, thank-you letters, supporter events, annual reports, and social media content.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and periodic staff gatherings to stay about ACRES’s activities and programmes.
• Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events.
• Work with the team to ensure that fundraising targets are met for the financial year.
