Position Summary / Project Description

As a PM within the Program Management Office (PMO), the resource will be responsible for initiating, managing, and reporting on Cluster related projects and programs.

• Undertake research, investigations, and developments in Oracle cloud technology in an appropriate way and communicate the findings to the relevant interested stakeholder groups to inform business decisions.
• Ensure Oracle cloud technologies are leveraged appropriately using best practices.
• Be a key contact for new business opportunities by supporting our presales team. Identifies and promotes opportunities for sales of Oracle products and services to support business growth.
• Work with the services sales teams where required to assist at pre-sales level around defining scope, LoE, technical guidance and at high level technical program/project level delivery methodology.
• Actively lead and contribute to strategic programs and initiatives, including innovations.
• Provide advice and guidance on OCI IaaS architecture and security.

What You'll Need

• Overall good knowledge of Oracles private, hybrid and public cloud solutions.
• Experiences in multi-cloud deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and architecture
• Strong knowledge of OCI IaaS Oracle recommended practices for the workloads onboarding and/or running on OCI IaaS
• Strong knowledge of physical and SDN network technologies.
• Experiences in building, configuring, managing, and monitoring networking and IP infrastructure in major cloud provider (OCI, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.).
• Awareness and knowledge of networking and latency considerations for different workloads.
• Ability to architect for high availability, fail-over & disaster recovery in public or hybrid cloud environments.
• Good automation process and technology experience around DevOps, GitOps, AI/ML, microservices
• Strong understanding of cloud security.
• Good knowledge of relevant open-source cloud technologies
• Be familiar with KVM, AWS, Azure, SoftLayer and OpenStack.
• Experience in develops, configurable, deploys and maintains cloud security and systems in support of information security operations.
• Knowledge of Cloud native design solutions
• Good Understanding of Oracle Database, Oracle Middleware and PaaS services
• Understanding of Applications landscape and SaaS Solutions

What You’ll Do

The Consulting Solution Manager is a hands-on architect accountable for articulating, architecting & actively assisting with selling & delivery of Oracle Consulting’s service offerings around integrating the entire Oracle Cloud (& On-premise) Technology stack with the Business Requirements of our clients in order to deliver transformation.

As a Consulting Solution Manager, you will:

• Owns the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and coordinated business solutions. Anticipates project risks and suggest risk mitigation to project manager. Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products
• Act as a recognized authority and leading contributor within the practice, this senior-level consulting professional has broad understanding of solutions, industry standard methodologies, multiple business processes or technology designs across multiple product/technology families
• Assist in the growth and development of the digital (UX/DX) domain for consulting in ASEAN and SAGE. Provide hands-on leadership and direction, contributing to the growth of intellectual capital in the industry and supporting the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities
• Works directly with consulting sales to analyze customer business needs and carries a soft quota
• Leading key projects delivery as the engagement lead and solution advisor
• Business case development, project and program management, business development, proposal writing and management

• Ability to manage multiple delivery engagements
• Business case development, project and program management, business development, proposal writing and management
• Hands-on development of deliverable utilizing formal structured methodology
• Assisting in the growth and development of the PaaS and IaaS, domain for Consulting and providing hands-on leadership and direction, contributing to the growth of intellectual capital in the industry and supporting the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities
• Experience in working with public/government sector is highly preferred
• Experience in designing Custom Cloud application
• Experience with Middleware Technology, Security, and Java
• Knowledge in Oracle RDBMS and related tools, GoldenGate, Enterprise Manager Suite
• Experience and understands Microservice architecture with containers such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in DevOps Practice and tools such as Puppet, Ansible, etc.
• Knowledge in Mobile Application Development tools and architecture.
• Knowledge in NoSQL DB, BigData architecture.
• Experience in Infrastructure Cloud like AWS, MS Azure
