The successful incumbent is responsible for the business operations in the Asia Zone. A brief description is as follows:-

Asia Zone

• Freyssinet has a long historical presence in Asia, comprising of Freyssinet and related companies namely, Reinforced Earth either through adhoc permanent Joint Venture or operate directly under the Freyssinet umbrella.
• It has permanent Business Units (BU) in South Korea, Hong Kong/Macau, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia/Brunei and Indonesia. Each of these countries is helmed by a Business Unit Manager reporting to the Zone Director.
• The annual turnover is in the region of 180 MSGD and employs approximately 2400 employees across the Business Units.

a) Work with team to research and source for appropriate learning methodologies, e-learning courseware/platforms and partners who can accelerate the learning experience of staff and volunteers.

4. Oversee the team’s administrative processes and capability development.

a) Manage team’s budget utilisation and adherence to financial and procurement processes.

b) Identify training needs, coach and assess staff performance

c) Participate in workgroups and perform tasks as assigned

d) Prepare reports for update to management and stakeholders

5. Other ad-hoc duties

a) Other duties as assigned by senior officers

• Good written, oral and presentation skills

• Analytical, resourceful with good inter-personal skills

· Source potential deals in SEA / Middle East

2. Market Research and Opportunity Identification:

· Identify potential opportunities for M&A in the upstream oil & gas fields

3. Strategic Planning and Analysis:

· Develop strategies for M&A in the upstream oil and gas sector, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy. / Asset assessment and risk analysis

· Engage in negotiations with target companies and their shareholders, reaching agreements for M&A.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in petroleum engineering, geology, business, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions within the oil and gas industry, particularly in upstream oil and gas fields.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, effective in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and legal requirements.
