Position: Sales Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and supporting technical inquiries while fostering strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily sales inquiries, prepare sales reports, and conduct projection analysis.
• Conduct customer visits, product sales, and technical presentations, addressing customer queries regarding product quality and technical issues.
• Develop sales strategies and action plans by analyzing market trends and understanding customer requirements.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and principals, handling sales-related tasks such as preparing drawings, sourcing, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Ensure orders align with quotations and coordinate prompt deliveries to customers.
• Provide market updates and trends during monthly sales meetings with management.
• Collaborate with the QC department to resolve quality issues and supply necessary documentation to customers.
• Assist in the preparation and participation in trade shows within the assigned territory.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets.
• Plan and manage the sales service schedule and prepare performance reports for management review.
• Maintain high-quality and timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities and provide sales support to existing clients.
• Travel internationally as required to support sales efforts.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web design, and 2D drawing software.
• Strong customer service focus with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a hands-on, "can-do" attitude.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to meet goals.

To service / install / repair of measuring machine, CNC or manual machines.

On-site installation / service of linear scale and DRO on Milling / Lathe / Grinding machine.

Class 3 will be advantage.

Without experience is accepted, as training will be provided.

* Troubleshooting and repairing faults and issues

* Conducting routine maintenance and inspections

* Collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide solutions

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil), mechanical & electrical or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): MS OFFICE, DRAWING INTERPRETATION
• Specialized in Engineering - Civil Construction/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise and manage the civil and structural or M&E projects.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with clients, consultants and sub contractors.
• To ensure and maintain high standard of work, safety and good work productivity.
• Other adhoc duties as and when directed

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end web applications.
• Lead technical design, implementation, debugging and optimization of in-house web portals.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams for development of key game features and services.
• Identify potential technical risks early and provide technical advice for mitigation.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications and user data.
• Write clean, maintainable, performant and well-documented application code and test code.
• Collaborate with other senior engineers to establish coding standards, best practices and development processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, systems, tools, processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions in the game experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in web development.
• Experience with front-end development (e.g. Vue, React, Typescript, CSS, HTML).
• Strong back-end software development experience with Node.js, Python.
• Solid understanding of API design and Kafka.
• Experience with data-driven product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc.
• Demonstrable experience with multiple database systems (MySQL, Cassandra, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Passion for gaming and a drive to create engaging experiences for players.
• Experience with designing, developing scalable, production-ready architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of game architecture, design patterns, and software engineering principles for delivering high-quality gaming experiences.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Prior experience in game development.
• Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bilingually proficient (spoken). Reading and written is a plus.

- Proactive and able to manage work and projects independently.

- Chemical background is preferred, no chemical background but willing to learn is also welcome.

-3-5K base salary, excluding commission. The commission should form a substantial part of total salary on an average healthy sales manager basis.
