This is a full-time hybrid role for a Web Designer. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing creative, interactive and user-friendly websites and web applications. This role is located in Bukit Batok, but some work from home is acceptable. You will be ensuring that design and development projects are completed on schedule and meet the client's requirements and expectations. Job Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy dynamic and responsive web solutions; mainly web-based WordPress sites/applications.
• Implement, and maintain new/existing web-based applications & websites
• Collaborate with stakeholders involved in projects (marketing, business reps)
• Communicate regularly on the progress of active projects and adhere reasonably to the agreed timeline
• Optimize, troubleshoot, and debug website issues
• Build and manage workflows on projects

Ideal Candidate

• You possess at least a diploma/professional certification related in info-communication/design OR a proven portfolio of websites designed with 1-year experience
• Some knowledge & experience with WordPress CMS and extensions, plugins, and visual builders i.e. Elementor, beaver builder, wpbakery etc.
• A fair understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery is required
• Design knowledge (UI/UX)
• Some experience in Figma/invision/Adobe XD

• Participate in Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities including but not limited to HAZID, HAZOP, Studies, Operability, Front Loading Commissioning in design, SCE’s and Performance standards in Commissioning Procedures.
• To independently review & develop various complex commissioning deliverables, analyze the documents and highlight the shortfalls through vigorous review process and address these shortfalls with the team.
• Develop Onshore and Offshore Commissioning Procedures for Instrumentation and Control Systems.
• To support in developing project deliverables as per project & client requirement
• Prepare & Review of company development work methodology / procedures.
• Capable of managing demanding expectations of clients which may range from addressing gaps to unexpected work scope variations while ensuring conformance to the project, regulatory and contract requirements.
• Attend FAT and SAT depending on project requirements.
• Independently deals with regulatory authority, class, vendors and clients with regards to comments or queries on commissioning deliverables and develops technical/engineering solutions to the issues raised.
• Participates in meetings with the project team to review progress and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues where necessary based on the standard procedures, practices and lessons learnt from past projects to ensure that the project proceeds timely and smoothly.
• Perform duties as per directives of reporting authority.

MAIN DUTIES

• Responsible for creative excellence on projects from conceptualization to execution
• Work with the interior design team to develop design solutions
• Research concepts and materials to support the design team on technical issues influencing concept development
• Provide strategic thinking and analysis for a project being proposed
• Prepare and participate in client presentations
• Propose furniture, materials, decor, and finishes
• Attend site meetings, supervise sites, coordinates project progress, and ensure delivery of the project on schedule
• Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable about home furnishing, retailing, and trends in order to generate creative directions that inspire and present client with strong visual impressions
• Lead and manage projects with the team from conception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

• A Candidate must possess at least Certification/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience in design/ shopper engagement, preferably in the APAC region is required for this position
• Professional knowledge in space planning and conceptual design
• Extensive knowledge of design detailing and construction methodology
• Creative mindset and knowledge of all phases of Interior Design projects
• Good team player with the ability to work both independently and team-based environment, with a good sense of urgency and time management to meet tight deadlines
• Able to keep up with a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects
• Positive working attitude, self-motivated & hardworking
• Able to share ideas through sketches & 3D modeling
• Presentation skills and attention to details with an eye for design
• Fluency in English
