Role Summary
A creative opportunity exists for an experienced Photo Editor to join a top-tier International Editorial Design team. The role focuses on curating and licensing visual content that defines digital media experiences across high-profile media products. This role requires a resourceful, proactive problem-solver who has an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and can thrive under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct image research, curation, and handle licensing needs.
• Manage project budgets, negotiations, and communication with agencies/artists.
• Oversee asset tracking, archival, and licensing documentation.
• Collaborate in broadening the network of photographers and image providers.
• Coordinate with retouching teams, ensuring assets are up to quality standards.
Requirements
• 5+ years in photo editing, multimedia production, or art direction in creative industries.
• Knowledge of diverse photographers and photography sources.
• Experience in pricing negotiations, contract management, and legal clearance.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and other media tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, with an updated portfolio.
