Job Description:
Manage and perform engineering/design execution, planning, and interface and ensure that activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
Prepare project execution and quality plans, project plan of works, initial project safety review, initial project environmental review, and project control system.
Coordinate with project managers, discipline engineers, designers, drafters, and field staff, and ensure consistency in the execution of project activities.
Organize and conduct project meetings, and technical, and progress reviews.
Initiate and complete projects close-out and archiving.
Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; and conferring with management.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; and reviewing bids from contractors.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; and sequencing project elements.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; and resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
Controls project costs by approving expenditures; and administering contractor contracts.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; and recommending actions.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains project database by writing computer programs; and entering and backing up data.
Ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineer Board
At least 3 - 5 year(s) of relevant experiences in construction industry
Knowledge of Autocad would be an advantage
Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
