Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & Structure

Editing & Quality Assurance

• Review and revise content to ensure it is accurate, clear, and free from grammar or spelling errors.

• Ensure content is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and unbiased to reach a diverse audience.

Assessment Development

• Create both formative and summative assessments to gauge learners' understanding and retention.

Content Adaptation for Different Platforms

• Adapt content for multiple formats, including online courses, webinars, instructor-led sessions, and self-paced modules.

Continuous Improvement & Updates

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, English, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in e-learning development) is a plus.

Experience:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in content writing, curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.

Writing Skills:

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Instructional Design Knowledge:

• Understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and diverse learning styles.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and content development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Canva) is desirable.

The Course Writer is responsible for designing, writing, and developing high-quality educational content for online and in-person courses.
