What a Digital Visual Communication Designer does in HP:
- Digital storytelling: creation of compelling immersive visuals & motion graphics telling industrial design, product use cases, innovation, user interface & user experience design, proof of concept prototype stories. Design interactive media elements and ensure seamless integration with user interfaces.
- Storyboarding, sketches, mock-ups, low & hi-fidelity visuals & animations, high-quality presentations, market-ready assets.
- Design Implementation: Produce outstanding visual designs that communicate clearly. Create corporate content & maintain visual design language that is consistent with HP brand.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other designers, project managers, and marketing colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Communicate design ideas, concepts and strategies clearly and effectively to team members and partners. Communication with stakeholders with guidance from managers.
- Future-ready: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digital visual communication and incorporate them into daily design work.
- Resourceful: Create great visual designs with minimal time and resources.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Communication Design, User Experience, or equivalent. Please include your portfolio in your application.
- Typically 3 years of professional experience in design environment. Ideally involving both hardware industrial design and software user experience design.
- Self-starter: take on design projects with minimum guidance in a Hybrid work environment. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive in arranging review meetings with managers in a timely manner. Engage with other teammembers, management and partners.
- Responsibility of the time management of the projects: Plan and manage project schedules independently. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Complete Deliverables on or before pre-determined deadlines.
- Strong visual design foundation: illustration, graphic design, animation, video editing, 3D renderings, typography, colour, layout, Ul design, etc.
- Expert proficiency with leading 2D design software (Adobe Creative Suite), 3D visualization software (Keyshot), video editing (Adobe Premiere, After Effects), presentation software (Powerpoint) and AI visualization tools.
- Desire for continual learning and self-improvement. Curiosity & energy to learn new tools and to participate in off-cycle innovation projects beyond own expertise. Produce high quality output in disciplines outside of visual design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
