RESPONSIBILITIES
Graphics are used in many aspects of the digital space and can help us attract viewers, both new and old. The ideal candidate will communicate well and work methodically as part of a dynamic team that looks to grow in the digital space.
Scope of the Role
An experienced and talented UI designer to visually convey messages in an effective an aesthetically pleasing manner, especially in the social media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Study design briefs, conceptualise and determine requirements across digital platforms (familiarity with YouTube Studio is a plus)
- Designing digital assets, testing them, and optimizing them based on their performance.
- Be familiar with what is trending in the social media space and translate findings into and effective design and marketing strategies.
- Develop accompanying digital assets illustrations when required.
- Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning.
- Establish and adhere design to guidelines, best practices and standards.
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital platforms.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that final outputs are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards.
- Assist in social media content planning
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 to 3 years experience preferred
- Proven graphic designing experience
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
- Proficiency in design and photo-editing software
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
