Job Descriptions:
- Prepare computerized layouts for approval.
- Resize design elements to meet client's size requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales/Clients to confirm layout and make amendments accordingly.
- Find and edit graphics, including photographs or illustrations.
- Import text and graphics into desktop publishing software programs.
- Position artwork and text on the page layout.
- Select formatting properties, such as text size, column width, and spacing.
- Check proofs or preliminary layouts for errors and make corrections.
- Color correct, resize, and convert multiple file types from one platform to another.
- Calibrate digital files for output to large format inkjet printers.
- Liaise with Sales and Printing Department on print preparation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in Printing/Advertising.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with an eye for details.
- Willingness to work overtime and in shifts.
- Effective communication with Sales/Clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
