WTT SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
As WTT's Social Media Specialist, you're pivotal in engaging our global fanbase. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, and overseeing a high-performing team of social media content creators, you will create and execute innovative social media strategies, driving engagement, reach, and revenue with captivating content across all platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement dynamic social media strategies in alignment with WTT's marketing goals.
- Manage content calendars for consistent, engaging posts in support of WTT’s brand initiatives as well as events worldwide.
- Collaborate across departments to integrate campaigns, enhancing fan engagement and event promotions.
- Work closely with the marketing team, including PR and video production, to create compelling fan campaigns and content for events and partnerships.
- Partner with PR and Marketing to promote players on WTT social channels during and outside events.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Brand Partnerships team for creative delivery of maximum ROI through social content.
- Utilise analytics to track campaign performance and make strategic adjustments.
- Lead social media communication, building networks with industry professionals and influencers.
- Support the social media team members, promoting creativity and a highly collaborative environment.
- Any other duties as required by Line Manager and Management.
Requirements
Essential:
- Diploma in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing or related field, with a sports industry background preferred.
- 2 - 3 years of social media marketing and content development experience, showcasing community growth.
- Experience in the sports, broadcast or events industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, with exceptional communication skills.
- Strong SEO, content optimisation expertise, and social media metrics understanding.
- Familiarity with social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and best practices across major platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Weibo, and Douyin.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team player mindset.
- Creative thinking and a passion for table tennis or sports marketing.
- Strong organisational and project management skills
Desirable:
- Passion for sport and business;
- Ability to work in multiple languages, with a preference in South East Asian Languages
