The Director acts as the day-to-day liaison between the client and business, providing leadership, strategic direction and input for media plans. The Director effectively leverages experience, knowledge and skills to drive innovative thinking while balancing client, company, and team needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day strategic integrated media planning activities for assigned account(s).
• Help develop planning objectives and strategies that coincide with client’s marketing direction.
• Establish and grow client relationships by demonstrating an understanding of industry and client business issues
• Achieve the financial goals of the account by managing costs, revenue, and scope of work in accordance with client contract
• Oversee budget allocation process for all media based on client initiatives and direction; accurately project costs and anticipate the financial results of plan revisions

• Cross team collaboration to work with the division leads in Strategy, Programmatic, Content, Analytics & Insights and Ad Ops team.
• Work with teams to evaluate media performance and KPIs to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met.
• Scope of work management, manage and optimise working process to ensure seamless implementation of projects is essential.
• Run and mentor a mid-size team and promotes a healthy team building and collaboration
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of junior staff
• Establish and maintain effective relationships within and outside the immediate team

Qualifications

• Min 12 to 15 years of strong media experience, prior experience in managing large client accounts preferred.
• Ability to develop POVs on various media in the marketplace is essential to this role
• Excellent presenter and strong in client & stakeholders management
• Is sound in online and offline strategic planning. Experience in planning and implementing in market such as SEA, China, US and EU is a benefit but optional.
• Detailed awareness of media landscape, trends, challenges and competition.
• Good understanding of research tools
• Ability to translate data into well-articulated ideas looking outside the box

Directors are integral to the success of any film project. As a director you'll contribute to all the creative elements of a production and will be responsible for shaping them into a cohesive film.

In order to do this, you'll need a strong creative vision and the ability to communicate your ideas to a variety of people throughout the production process. This will include your production team, crew, actors and those responsible for financing the film.

Responsibilities

As a film director, you'll need to:

• read scripts
• work with writers and provide feedback on the further development of scripts
• select actors - sometimes working with casting directors and producers during this selection process
• monitor rehearsals
• direct actors during the filming
• select locations for filming
• hold meetings with key departments such as the camera, art and costume departments during the planning stages and throughout the filming
• agree the budget and schedule of the film with the producer
• be responsible for staying on budget and schedule
• supervise all creative aspects of the production
• work with the editor to present the final version of the film
• select music for the final film and/or work with a composer to decide on the musical score

Expectations of an Associate Media Director:

• Establish a partner-relationship with clients by being involved in the business environment
• Hone feasibility, profitability and negotiation skills through implementation and management of plans at best prices and terms to maximize effectiveness of placement’s reach to client’s consumers

• Collaborate with digital specialist teams to develop digital strategy and media plan recommendations, integrating offline recommendations

WTT SINGAPORE SMASH EVENT DIRECTOR

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Director to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the Singapore Smash. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a collaborator, and an innovator who can create an unforgettable experience for athletes, fans, and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning and Coordination:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Singapore Smash annually and develop strategic event plans to expand and elevate future events.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the event are aligned and executed smoothly.
• Oversee the selection and management of event venues, ensuring all facilities meet the highest standards for athletes and spectators.

Stakeholder Management:

• Identify and create opportunities to grow the Singapore Smash for players, entourage, fans, partners, and media.
• Build strong and strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to ensure that Singapore Smash maintains its reputation as a leading sports and entertainment property.
• Manage business and relationship management of major partners, including key public sector event support agencies, event vendors, partners, broadcasters, and media.

Collaborative Leadership:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including marketing, operations, hospitality, and volunteer staff.

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in sports event management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale events.
