Event Secret Service (ESS) is seeking to hire an Event Operations Intern to serve in the Event Operations Department.

The intern will have the opportunity to work in one of the sub-departments: Administration.

General Role - Event Operations :

• Support event logistics by setting up equipment and providing on-site assistance during events.
• Manage operational aspects, including pre-event preparations, timelines, quotations, and logistical requirements.
• Assist in event hire recruitment processes and handle contract administration.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of event plans, timelines, and schedules.
• Coordinate event staffing, organize members' attendance details, and provide excellent customer service to event attendees.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HR system , Foster employee engagement through site visits, organize events, and coordinate impactful training programs.

Support Role - Administration & Business Development :

• Conduct a wide range of advanced administrative tasks, such as calendar management and quotation management.
• Possess strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks strategically. Plan, manage, and execute various admin meeting tasks such as scheduling client meeting and meeting communications

The Event Operations Internship at ESS is designed to enhance interns' skills in communication, technology, quantitative reasoning, and teamwork. It affords opportunities to engage with professional mentors, expand networks within the event industry, and gain valuable exposure. The internship prioritises the support of interns' professional development, providing a solid foundation for their future careers in event operations.

Job Duties:

• Contribute to the development of strategic communication and sustainability plans and implement elements as assigned, aligning with and advancing both business and function goals and strategic priorities.
• Implement processes and reporting for governing and monitoring of communication activities including tracking media and internal communications strategies executed
• Ensure all legal, regulatory and compliance issues are addressed in all communications and key conduct and risk messages are appropriately included
• Develop communications programmes to drive awareness of the company growth story and our distinctive company culture.
• Manage employee townhalls.
• Develop and implement strategic communication programs for internal and external audiences
• Formulate strategies for respective businesses on different aspects including Media Relations, Customer & Staff events, Community Relations and internal staff communications
• Ensure all legal, regulatory and compliance issues are addressed in all communications undertaken on behalf of the businesses
• Work closely with business units on issues management

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience, ideally in FMCG industry/ PR agency
