Additive Inn is a dynamic and innovative 3D printing company based in Singapore. We specialize in prototyping, manufacturing, and design solutions. We seek a passionate and skilled 3D Printing Production Engineer/Technician to lead and grow our 3D printing production department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Department Development: Establish and manage a 3D printing production department, implementing efficient workflows and systems.
Evaluate and procure 3D printers, materials, and accessories to enhance production capabilities.
Collaborate with management to define production goals and KPIs.
- 3D Printer Maintenance & Operation: Operate and maintain various types of 3D printers, including FDM, SLA, SLS, and others as required.
Troubleshoot and repair 3D printers to ensure minimal downtime.
Perform regular calibration, cleaning, and upgrades on all equipment.
- Production Workflow: Prepare and optimize 3D models for printing using slicing software (e.g., Cura, PrusaSlicer, PreForm, etc.).
Monitor printing processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality of output.
Implement post-processing techniques (e.g., sanding, polishing, painting) where needed.
- Technical Expertise & Support: Provide technical support to clients and team members, addressing issues with designs, prints, or equipment.
Identify and resolve challenges in production, including material compatibility and design feasibility.
Maintain a log of issues, repairs, and solutions for continuous improvement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Document production processes, machine settings, and troubleshooting steps.
Prepare reports on production performance and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, etc.).
- Proficiency in slicing software such as Cura, PrusaSlicer, PreForm, or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing 3D printers.
- Understanding of 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Fusion 360, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Interest in continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in 3D printing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
