Role Description

This is a remote role for a Digital Editor at Trade Link Media. The Digital Editor will manage content, oversee editorials, write, develop content strategies, and handle publications on digital and print platforms.

Qualifications

• Content Management and Editorial skills
• Manage our social media posts and online newsletters.
• Attend press events occasionally and liaise with global B2B companies or PR agencies for stories.
• Compile content for regular PDF issues with the help of an in-house graphics team.
• Writing and Content Strategy abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of digital content trends and platforms
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Keeping an open-minded attitude in learning new technologies and meeting people in the industry
• Ability to work independently and remotely (fully work-from-home arrangement)
• Knowledge of producing short interview videos is an advantage

WHAT is this role about?

You will lead and mentor a team of writers and content creators, and be responsible for executing, assigning, and coordinating editorial tasks and duties.

Managing the daily output of news content on our website and social media platforms through the effective editing, assigning, and curation of stories.

Identifying important news developments in Singapore, or that affect Singapore.

Participating in news gathering, reporting, and story development.

Leading and mentoring a team of writers and content creators

Assigning and editing stories by your team of writers and content creators.

Independently managing project timelines and resources.

Identifying potential editorial opportunities, and engaging and building relationships with stakeholders.

Working with other editors to ensure our content is accurate, balanced, and timely.

Job Description

Social Media and Digital Editor Responsibilities

- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.

- Optimize setting account for our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages.

- Plan and manage the budget and execution of our digital channels ads including email marketing to drive traffic and conversion.

- Monitor and analyse engagement and lead conversion of our channels and make appropriate changes to maximize marketing results and better return on advertising spend.

- Provide analytics, insights and improvement actions for our digital channels.

- Oversees the development and upkeep of influencer marketing and contacts.

Videographer & Photographer Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain studio day-by-day operations
• Maintain and check lighting, camera, grips and digital equipment for faulty
• Keeping track of equipment Inventory
• Organizing, packing, unpacking, loading, unloading and setting up the camera, digital and lighting equipment at studio and external locations.
• Assisting with lighting, camera and digital work.
• Set up photographic equipment.
• Use both medium format camera for group portrait.
• Use special app for tethered shoot videography & photography.
• Use flash metering for both studio and outdoor settings.
• Prepare props, lighting, and background to fit the project's requirements
• Communicate with customers on photoshoot house venue and time
• Liase and handle corporate, event shoots
• Direct and handle group photos
• Maintain, clean and service studio equipment and cameras and accessories.
• Edit and retouch images

Requirement

- At least1 year of experience in related digital advertising / media industry. familiar with Facebook/ Google /ASM channel Ad Operations.

- Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing tactics.

- Strong data analyst skill and ideas for advertising materials.
