Job Description:

• Manage direct materials delivery schedules to ensure no downtime to production.
• Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers, perform daily MRP evaluations and take actions to resolve MRP delivery exceptions.
• Maintain vendor and material master data in the SAP to ensure compliance to Finance and Quality processes.
• Implement Global Procurement strategies to obtain best pricing, delivery, support and quality from the Suppliers.
• Drive process improvement projects with Operations and Supplier to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Perform sourcing activities for Indirect supplies to obtain the most cost efficient solutions for the organization.
• Participate in Supply Chain resilience projects to build a flexible supply chain.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply chain or related discipline or Diploma with minimum 3 to 5 years experience
• 2 to 3 years of Procurement experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge in Microsoft office applications. Project Management skills
• A Team player and able to work independently under tight schedule

Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives ​

• Responsible for executing warehouse policies and procedures and implementation of safety, quality and operational excellence programs in the warehouse to drive safe, compliant and efficient operations. He/She is also responsible for training of all internal warehouse personnel and outsourced service providers.
• Responsible for material receiving and dispatch and for the processing of inbound and outbound deliveries according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensures the orderly stocking and/ or efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials/ products.
• Maintains and updates the purchase order system as shipments are received, cancelled or back ordered.
• Responsible for materials put-away to storage and issuance of materials to production according to company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for overall inventory management (onsite and 3PL warehouses)
• Updates management on all inventory issues on a regular and as-needed basis.
• Responsible for asset management and maintenance of equipment and assets under the care of Warehouse
• Processes inventory paperwork.

Warehouse operations (on site and 3PL)

• Ensure daily container unloading plan is prepared for site inbound and ensure timely receipt s of inbound deliveries including at 3PL
• Ensure timely return of empty containers to the yard
• Ensure smooth turnaround for loading of Finished Goods for outbound
• Responsible for waste materials collection from AMS
• Keep proper records for inbound, outbound and waste management.
• Manage outsource service providers (3PL) to ensure compliance with related policies and procedures, ensure 3PL capability to support continuity of business activities and ensure3PL achieve performance to meet operational needs
• Ensure onsite contractors are trained and qualified for the job
• Ensure warehouse operations are compliant to safety and quality policies and procedures
• Ensure proper Material Control and handling methods are in placed
• Investigate e and improve site processes that impact 3PL material movement and inventory control
• Responsible for periodic review of 3PL warehouse process to ensure safe and compliant operations to procedures.
• Roll out established systems and procedures to shop floor

Maintain GMP standards

• Develop and maintain effective warehouse cleaning regime
• Comply to warehouse cleaning regime.
• Manage warehouse cleaning contractors.
• Maintain effective Pest control measures in warehouse.
• Investigate Pest/micro events and recommend corrective/ preventive actions to minimize pest ingress and keep presence of microbes within limits.
• Comply to Pest control measures in warehouse.
• Maintain good waste management practices
• Periodic inspections to ensure no temperature excursions in crit ical storage conditions.
• Work closely with QA/Pest Engineer to ensure 3PL warehouse meets Abbott quality and Product Safety requirement.

Quality systems

• Investigator and Resolution writer for quality related events in warehouse.
• Write procedures, Prepare Job Aids and training materials on procedures related to warehouse activities
• Prepare for audits, attend to audits and close CAPA actionsfrom audits
• Responsible to work with functional process owners to develop, review and update their respective procedures.

Safety

• Implement safety programs or actions in warehouse area
• Investigate safety incidents and close CAPA actions timely
• Prepare for audits, attend to audits and close CAPA actions from audits

Inventory management

• Responsible for overall inventory accuracy through daily/ weekly/ monthly audit of inventory control activities such as cycle count ing, scrap and returns.
• Ensure timely completion of scrap disposals and verify the completion of scrap transactions in the systems against physical disposal.
• Responsible for overall material and inventory accuracy of incoming materials and outgoing materials
• Manage replenishment of warehouse supplies.

Asset Management

• Responsible for management of warehouse assets, including but not limited to storage racks, fork trucks, material handlin g equipment, conveying systems, pallets and CCTVs located within the warehouse premises. Keep proper records, timeline preventive maintenance accord ing to vendor recommended schedules, keep track of all reported damages, schedule on time repairs, ensure operator care programs in place to drive responsible use of company's assets

Competency

• Responsible for onboarding of new warehouse employees and contractors. Ensure timely completion of all related training. Review training methods and materials and make adjustment to the training content to ensure training is relevant to the operations.

Financials

• Responsible for financials related to equipment maintenance, waste disposal, cleaning and material supplies. Keep proper records to ensure compliance with finance policies, verify billings and keep track of expenditures
• Responsible to assess and investigate damage claims
• Manage overtime and ensure spend is within the plan and LBE.
• Ensure CIP is delivered according to commitment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations or 3 years of relevant experience in food/ pharmaceutical plant with 6 to 10 direct reports.
• Supervisory skills, Inventory control techniques, MS office tools, warehouse operations management skills.
