Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Production (Precision Engineering)
• Position Title: Procurement Engineer
• Working Location: Kaki Bukit
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $4,500 + AWS
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Report to Operations Manager.
• Obtain quotations and purchase raw materials, components, and assign secondary processes to subcontractors.
• Update approved machining subcontractor quotations in the system.
• Issue and manage Work Orders and Purchase Orders.
• Source materials, components, and plating for cost reduction.
• Perform evaluations for company purchases and assist with assigned duties.
• Collaborate with the group sourcing team on procurement evaluations.
• Develop and manage the Supply Chain Management plan.

• At least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of related working experience. Preferably from the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office is a must.
• Experience with CRM tools (such as Salesforce) would be beneficial.
