Responsibilities:
- Co-lead the Contract Administrative & Procurement Team, overseeing pre- and post-contract activities (e.g., insurance, performance bonds, retention sums, variation orders etc).
- Administer tender processes, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with policies.
- Ensure contracts are executed and compliant with requirements.
- Review contract terms to align with market trends and company needs.
- Collaborate with Requestors to develop procurement strategies and resolve contract issues.
- Analyse procurement data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance decision-making.
- Source new vendors, evaluate vendors and drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Resolve contract disputes and draft necessary documents.
- Prepare contracts, certificates and verify supporting documentation.
- Perform other contract management duties as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in tender and contract management, including 3 to 5 years in construction or as a Quantity Surveyor (QS) in a QS consultancy firm.
- Strong understanding of procurement strategies, with excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, problem-solving and data analysis skills.
