Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to become part of our team. This position plays a key role in providing support to our Purchaser and maintaining efficient operations within the purchasing department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating purchase orders ensuring basic accuracy and completion of necessary details.
- Accurately update and maintain records in the company’s system, including purchase orders and delivery details.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely updates on procurement needs.
- Address any discrepancies or issues with deliveries promptly.
- Assist the finance team in resolving discrepancies with goods received notes.
- Other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with all levels of staff
- Demonstrates sense of initiative with the ability to work independently and as a team player
- Individuals without prior experience are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.
