The Strategic Buyer will play a crucial role in the company's success that meet our business needs.

You will be responsible for acting as a Procurement Business Partner to proactively understand up to date business needs and requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as a Procurement Business Partner to the R&D function to proactively understand up to date business needs and requirements
• Responsible for negotiations and selecting for best possible cost service guarantee and develop “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with vendors on a long-term basis.
• Implement vendor agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and performance to meet organization expectations and objectives
• Ensure compliance to organization guidelines and purchasing policies during the selection of vendors and suppliers.
• Request and negotiate on Quotations with vendors for the best total cost (price, lead-time, delivery, service) based on the overall organization interest.
• Quality assurance of the purchased product to meet the standards from the organization requirement

Your Profile

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Supply chain or similar, alternatively an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment with good knowledge of purchasing process
• Must have knowledge in SAP MM Modules
• Strong in negotiation skills with vendors and able to write contracts with vendors
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong intercultural experience and excellent interpersonal skills
• Willing to be hands-on in assigned tasks
