The role will be responsible for SEA procurement function
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Manage and monitor overall of purchasing function and activities in SEA, taking on the strategic as well as operational initiatives for sourcing and procurement. Manage a team of 9 buyers across South East Asia countries.
- Manage the Strategic Sourcing of all general category goods and services (excluding Transport) and maximize the delivery of savings through transformational procurement/sourcing programs. This is a high profile role interacting up to a senior level within the CEVA organization and is responsible for defining, implementing, and delivering Procurement sourcing activity across South East Asia.
- Improve current purchasing system and workflow to comply with procurement rules and regulations
- Lead and manage cost enhancing procurement activities on clusters / local purchased commodities and services
- Implement Global Procurement Strategy and Contracts – in close collaboration with APAC Regional and Global Procurement
- Develop solid communication channels with the operations to understand their needs and challenges and to demonstrate the added value Procurement can bring in their day-2-day activity
- Work closely with Finance to streamline the Procure-to-Pay process, elaborating detailed reporting (using spend analysis tools) on the cluster spend as well the cluster vendor landscape. This close work with Finance should lead to reduce / avoid Maverick Buying as well as increase the adoption of CEVA PO module system
- Drive productivity to improve the company’s profitability, report all procurement savings (external spend related) achieved at cluster level into online saving tracking system.
- Work closely with category team to drive synergy across legal entities and countries.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education & Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent qualification
Experience
- At least 8 years of working experience preferably at top-tier consultancy or in the procurement / finance department
- People management experience
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent Numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
