(A) Job Summary:
- Manages the purchases of construction materials at site.
(B) Essential Job Functions:
- The Purchasing Officer (Site) is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Quality
- Make orders for construction materials and other items as requested.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Ensure all delivery orders are in accordance to PO and verification of DO for preparation of payment.
- Call for quotations and source for new supplies if need and recommendation of award.
- Follow up on complaints on product quality.
- Process and generate PO/RO
- All other tasks assigned
(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- GCE O/A Levels or Diploma qualifications.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil projects.
(D) Personality:
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence various stakeholders and build long term relationships.
(E) Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
- Good time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Team player.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
