We are looking for an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee our procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, and optimize sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of goods.
Forecast demand and plan purchases to meet business requirements while managing inventory levels effectively.
- Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers locally and internationally.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company.
- Cost Control & Optimization:Analyze procurement expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
Monitor market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and adjust procurement plans accordingly.
- Quality Assurance:Ensure all procured goods meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
Address and resolve any issues related to supplier performance or product quality.
- Team Leadership:Lead and mentor the procurement team to enhance efficiency and achieve departmental goals.
Provide training and guidance to improve team members' skills in negotiation, sourcing, and supplier management.
- Reporting & Compliance:Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management on procurement performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in procurement management, preferably in the wholesale trading industry.
- Skills:Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities effectively.
