Job Title: Procurement Manager (ID8135)
Location: Lakeside
Working Hour: 5 days work Monday-Friday 9am – 6 pm
Salary: $6000 - $8000

Job Description:
- Assume all purchasing duties across the company inclusive of retail, food service and branded distribution items.
- Improve efficiency in management of inventory to reduce costs and increase productivity for the organization.
- Establish a mix of products to enable Q.B Food to grow and develop their food service and retail offering and become a competitive force in the market.
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
- Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
- Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement
- Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages
- Supervising a purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary
- Working closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favorable

Requirement:
- At least 8–10 years in procurement, ideally in FMCG or food sourcing (meat/dairy experience preferred).
- Import knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in SAP will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Procurement & Planning Manager (ID8135)

Salary: $6000 - $6500

Job Description:
• Regularly review cost out opportunities and ensure prices for goods are in line with relevant market rates, efficiently sourced, and procured in a way that creates the best value for the business
• Lead accurate demand forecast with sales and marketing by successfully monitor and communicate forecasts, changes, inventory estimates, supply situations, business risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans
• Identify and analyze sales trends and influencing variables and incorporate analysis in forecasting & inventory planning
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Effective relationship building with key suppliers for all food/beverage raw materials, ingredients & packaging to meet business demands
• Work with the Sales and Marketing Team to develop and implement short term and long-term strategic initiatives that enable the business to meet its growth and profitability objectives
• Coach the team to master the competencies required to ensure long-term business success and long-term members’ success
• Act as the main subject matter expert, develop policies and procedures related to procurement and planning
• Oversee purchasing system, Costpoint, and provide strategic direction on procurement actions, approval workflows and thresholds, and tracking related to Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders
• Collaborate with Finance team to ensure procurement management is aligned with corporate standards
• Maintain knowledge of Import/Export regulations, and compliance with the regulations to coach/train staff and ensure compliance.

Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chains, Business, or a related field required
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG, most preferably food sourcing/purchasing
• Experience in Meat and Cheese imports.
• Proven track record of managing a significant cost of goods with strong motivation to deliver cost savings
• Excellent in guiding mentoring team members to achieve accuracy in forecasts & inventory management
• Strong leader with good decision-making and the ability to multitask
• A proven track record of collaboration (cross-functional) and delivering results as a team contributor & coach
• Strong business acumen, open-minded approach, and ability to effectively manage relationships throughout the organization and supplier relationship management skills
