Working Days and Timing:

Our client is one of the licensed warehouses, specialised in handling and storage of dutiable cargo like alcoholic beverages and tobacco is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position of Forklift Cum Warehouse Assistant and located in Tuas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving, storing, and organizing incoming stock.
• Picking and packing orders for shipment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Keeping detailed records of inventory.
• Inspecting goods for defects or damages.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Assisting with inventory audits.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Communicating effectively with other warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Following health and safety guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must know how to use the forklift licence

• Excellent written and oral communications skills and be comfortable coordinating tasks across multiple functions and global locations
• Able to quickly learn new concepts, processes and systems
• Proactive in sourcing for new supplies, select and negotiate for the best purchase package, in terms of quality, price, terms and, deliveries and services with suppliers for existing and new projects.
• Liaise with suppliers to address technical issues.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor products delivery
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and follow up on PO, delivery and schedule
• Internal and external communication and coordination
• Maintain procurement records, including details on purchased items or services, costs, delivery timelines, product quality or performance, and inventory levels
• Analyze the requirements for supplies, raw materials, and equipment needed to support production and other internal departments

Requirement:

• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in Semiconductor Industry or Precision Industry.
• Good negotiation, interpersonal, communications and coordination skills
• Diploma / Degree in Supply chain / purchasing/engineering or equivalents
• Detailed oriented, Positive attitude, self motivated, target drive
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good understanding of procurement best practices & industry trends
• Processes the ability to read, write and communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking vendors and internal Chinese-speaking stakeholders
• Self-starter with good initiative and a team player personality
