Job Description:

Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing and researching, cost analysis, inventory control, negotiating contract and processing purchase orders in strict accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.

~ Coordinate procurement operations with vendors and stakeholders.

~ Gather data on vendor performance to propose improvements.

~ Gather feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of current sourcing strategies.

~ Highlight sourcing issues for management's action.

~ Maintain procurement database and documentation.

~ Maintain sourcing documentationin the procurement management system.

~ Maintain vendor information and records.

~ Maintain vendor contracts.

~ Monitor vendors' conformance to delivery schedules and product specifications.

~ Monitor vendor performance.

~ To perform operation duty assigned.

~ Working with other internal departments such as finance, sales, and operations to resolve issues and concerns

Requirements:

~ A diploma or degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.

~ A minimum of 3 years of purchasing-related experience in the healthcare sector preferred.

  • Liaise with OVR team to approve the profile.
• Manage and handle external parties on OVR issues.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for registering exempted vendor via company Procurement Portal
• Conduct background check on the vendor's company
• Obtain the vendor's company information from OUs
• Liaise with OVR team to approve the profile
• Manage and handle OUs' operations on OVR request by providing them guidance.
• Assist OUs for reviewing the OVR profile status
• Assist to guide OUs to seek AR/AP Finance Team on Vendor Creation in GDMS
• Manage and handle external parties on OVR issues.
• Resolve their OVR profile matter to assist them on their OVR submission via E-Mail and/or Phone Call.
• Assist updating exercise of vendor maintenance in GDMS
• Assist and support to Senior Procurement Executive on other Procurement related matters

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' Levels or Diploma Holder
• Proactive and independent with positive attitude
• Minimum 1 year working experience in Buyer and/or general administrative
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Words and Excel
• Team player, Customer-orientated mindset, Good interpersonal skills
• Able to commit 6 months and start immediately/ with short notice
• 5 days, Mon to Fri, 8.30am - 6.00pm, Alexandra
