Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
- Prepare and pack goods for shipment to customers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and manual tracking methods.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing shelves and storage areas.
- Follow safety and security regulations and standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ level or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking software preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks, such as standing, bending, and reaching, for extended periods of time
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Valid driver's license and forklift certification preferred
