Role Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Warehouse Officer to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role also involves coordinating and performing delivery tasks to support our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management & Order Fulfilment:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, maintaining accurate recordsand conducting regular stock audits.
- Ensure proper labelling and tagging of products.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and monitordelivery routes.
Delivery Coordination:
- Perform delivery duties as needed, ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods.
- Handle customer interactions during deliveries, ensuring a high level of service.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
- Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouseoperations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, deliveries, and other warehouse activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
- Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items
