Job Description
- Manage, monitor, and analyse the Company’s inventory operations, making data-driven decisions, suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency of inventory operations and minimise costs.
- Review and perform monthly reconciliation for inventory.
- Draft inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
- Report inventory statistics to management and suggest improvements to inventory control.
- Maintain inventory databases and systems for accurate inventory management.
- Ensure accuracy in weighted average costing of the inventory accounting.
- Handle the creation of outright class/consignment class item creation forms and liaise with Merchandising Department.
- Coordinate with Sales and Merchandising department on the monthly stock take adjustments and review monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with other team members to address discrepancies and support all inventory-related activities.
- Assist with the implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and mitigate obsolescence risks.
- Support Accounts Payable functions.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent qualification.
- Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience in costing and accounting environments.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles for retail industry and proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to take on new tasks.
Job Details & Benefits:
- Reports directly to Head of Finance
- Working Hours: Monday ~ Friday 9.00 am - 6.00 pm (flexi work hours available)
- Work Location: Isetan Head Office (3min walk from Havelock MRT)
