Position title: Site Supervisor

Working Location: Islandwide (depends on site project, Company provide lorry)
Office Location: Kaki Bukit
Working Days: 6-days work week (off 4 days a month)
Working hours : 8am-7pm
Salary : $3000 - $3800

Roles & Responsibilities

• Purchase material
• Monitor the progress of the site
• Arrange & Organize work schedule
• Do not have to go to the office in the morning- directly to the site, need to bring workers to site.

As a Buyer (RE/Property), YOU are responsible to:

• Work closely with requestors to establish a well-defined scope for effective and efficient sourcing.
• To perform sourcing/source from qualified and reliable sources to meet requirements and specifications.
• Confidently engages supplier and negotiates for the competitive price for the company.
• Perform costing cost analysis and implementation to cost efficient for effective purchasing strategies
• To request pricelist RFQ from vendors.
• Managing contractual T&C and establish contracts agreement with key suppliers.
• Implementing of stablished procedures (including regulatory requirements) and practices
• Working closely with respective team and to ensure on-time deliveries of goods.
  Ensuring that goods delivered are in quality form and supporting on warranty claims.Managing Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order.
• Performing forecast and updates to suppliers and to meet changes in demand.
• Exercising good vendor management.
• Monitoring of the performance of suppliers to meet objectives in quality.
• Inventory control and cost management
• Engaging in supplier meetings pertaining to feedback and improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics & Supplychain/ Procurement/ Business or other related field.
• At least 3 years working experiences in estate, facilities management procurement.
• Team player who enjoys teamwork environment and is able to communicate with individuals at all levels / positions
• Independent, self-motivated, result oriented with ability to work under pressure and willing to work beyond normal call of duty
• Knowledge in SAP and Microsoft skills.

Job scope

• Handle Daily Purchasing operation including sourcing, quotation inquiry, negotiating pricing and expediting delivery schedule
• Receive Purchase Requisition form from various departments and place order
• Prepare and issuance of Purchase order
• Track and trace Purchase order and delivery schedules and communicate the status updates to the relevant departments and storemans
• Assist to establish and implement new inventory system
• Monitor stock movement to ensure minimum inventory holdings using inventory system
• Identify and evaluate new vendors on pricing, quality and level of service on a regular basis
• Participate in full stock take
• Able to maintain good relationship with current existing and new suppliers
• Arrangement of drivers to collect deliveries ordered
• Check and approve suppliers' invoices against Purchase Orders and delivery orders
• Assist in answering calls and doing proper documentation of documents.

• Report to the Singapore office Managing Director and Head of the Procurement division in Headquarter
• Lead development of procurement strategies to ensure alignment with HQ policy and strategy
• Analyze vendors’ profiles by having a full understanding of the site condition through close communication with PM or PE manager
• Regular conference meetings and report monthly issues with HQ
• Support tendering, especially HQ tender teams, for new projects in nearby countries
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, site PM/PE Mgr. and PIC related to issues in HQ
• Manage and improve the current works, Long-term contracts, Logistics, Rental equipment, General bidding and Vendor list management

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering field
• At least 15 years’ experience in the construction industry; inclusive of a minimum 10 years’ experience in a procurement leadership role is mandatory for this position
• Candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of construction site requirements, hence experience in the construction site office is essential for this position.
• Candidate with experience in overseas projects such as power plant/Architectural/Civil projects is preferred
