5. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Job Description：
-Process purchase requisitions from user departments, and co-ordinates between user and
supplier
-Obtains quotations from suppliers and does comparison of item costs
-Generate and send out purchase orders
-Assist in receiving and checking of goods
-Administers, communicates and co-ordinates delivery and shipment related activities
between sales department and freight forwarding companies
-Responsible for the efficient, timely and accurate preparation of shipping documents and
ensure accurate declaration of permits
-Assist in basic receptionist duties
-Support department with general administrative duties

Requirements:
-Experience in Microsoft Office ,SAP
-At least 1~3 years experience in doing Purchaser
-Company bus from Lakeside station is available

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare appropriate documents for the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment and service contracts according to procedures.

2. Receives and processes all purchase requisitions.

3. Review and verify purchase requisitions to ensure that appropriate account coding is applied.

4. Ensure all purchase requisitions have been properly authorized.

5. Make vendor selection recommendations based on materials quality and price quotes with Green Procurement Policy.

6. Maintains familiarity with current products and price schedules.

7. Analyse all requests to determine the most efficient and economical way of processing requests.

8. Ensure compliance with standard procedures.

9. Monitor and ensure daily delivery order, invoices and receipts, and full sets of documents are digitalized for submission to Finance Department.

10. Liaise with the suppliers/vendors on any discrepancy.

11. Update Vendor database.

12. Establish a good rapport and working relationship with internal customers and external suppliers.

13. Perform monthly stock take and update inventory report on a timely basis.

14. Monitors and maintains record for Capital Expenditure.

15. Backup for accounts payable staff function.

16. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma in any Business / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

· At least 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in Clubs/Hotels/Food & Beverage environment preferred.

· Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking suppliers.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications eg: Excel and preferably with basic accounting knowledge.

· A team player with effective communication and negotiation skills with people of different background.

· Able to multi-task, independent, meticulous.

Purchasing Officer – 5 Days

Work Location: Bukit Batok (West)

Job Responsibilities:

· Source and assess potential suppliers for instrument components, materials, and procurement products locally and overseas.

· Identify and evaluate new suppliers while reviewing existing suppliers.

· Communicate with suppliers and place orders for high-quality products and materials.

· Maintain positive supplier relations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times, ensuring on-time delivery.

· Collaborate with suppliers on delivery scheduling, quality issues, component specifications, and certification requirements.

· Arrange training for engineers with suppliers as needed.

· Monitor & manage project costings closely to achieve cost savings.

· Monitor and manage inventory.

· Work with engineering, workshop, and assembly teams to achieve cost savings and on-time deliveries of orders.

· Enforce procurement policies and procedures.

· Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• GCE’O’ level or Diploma.

• Min 2 years’ working experience in procurement function.

• Self-driven, self-motivated and proactive.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
