Position Summary

You will be responsible for planning and executing daily procurement functions supporting both internal and external stakeholders. You are also responsible for processing orders and managing inventory to support the company’s goal towards good procurement governance. A strong team player who can work well with other departments to deliver procurement projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact between the company and vendors/suppliers
• Plan delivery of procurement logistics services that meet customer requirements
• Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors based on project requirements
• Build and maintain good working relationships with vendors, suppliers and clients
• Ensure goods inventory list and books are up to date and accurate
• Develop procurement strategies that are time and cost-effective without compromising on quality and service delivery
• Manage the procurement budget to promote long-term saving on procurement costs and align to the company’s goals
• Stay up to date on industry trends and available goods to compare prices
• Identify suitable tenders for hardware/software and managed services

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 3 - 5 years in procurement function. Good knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices on inventory and goods flow. Prior experience in I.T. industry will be preferred.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communications to engage internal and external stakeholders

Negotiation: Possess good understanding on price points and is able to negotiate effectively

Innovation: Creative mind to improve procurement workflow effectively with new ideas / system

Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain

Others: Own mode of transportation vehicle for delivery will be an added advantage
