An established MNC in the business of distributing products/ components to the High-Tech industry, is seeking for a suitable candidate to join the team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Purchasing of materials for assigned customers e.g. hardware fasteners, electronics components etc
• Liaise and work closely with the customer service team to acquire all relevant information to facilitate forecasting and material planning
• Execute purchase requisition, purchase order on system upon approval
• Monitor and expedite supplier deliveries to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Monitor and control inventory at optimal level
• Generate management report on inventory for management review
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel for incoming goods receiving and any stock movement
• Work with suppliers/ vendors on any rejects, slow moving or open orders shipment advice
• Assist materials manager in daily operations
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in purchasing/ sourcing of mechanical parts are advantageous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
