Key Responsibilities:
Administration
- Act as an administrator supporting Management
- Close collaboration with Global Commodity Managers (GCM) and provide full support on pricing administration, including some level of annual pricing negotiation preparation work
- Act as main interface to suppliers on periodic Request For Quotation (RFQ) by internal teams
- Perform timely contract price alignment and communication with internal teams (Procurement & Contract Manufacturers team)
- Responsible to assist GCMs in updating Contract Pricing timely in database
Supplier Management
- Maintain real-time the Globally Managed Suppliers Matrix
- Act as primary contact for Global Commodity Management on Lower Level Materials (LLM) & Assurance Of Supply (AOS) escalation
- Assist GCMs to trigger initial communication email and ensure close follow-up with Globally Managed Suppliers on AOS escalations
- Assist GCMs in soliciting Business Continuity Plan (BCP) survey completion by Suppliers, including performing the BCP scoring upon receiving the completed survey template
- Work with GCMs on TQRDC activities related to Suppliers and internal team members survey completion
- Able to participate in Suppliers Benchmarking exercise, performs verification & assist in issue resolution, including necessary recommendation
Centralized Role
- Act as Administrator for shared platform within Global Commodity Management team
- Provide real-time update & help to maintain all centralized information in shared platform
- Enhance Excel templates / data collection procedures, develop algorithms to support automation and build intelligence to ensure data process / accuracy
- Perform data analysis from multiple sources and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency
- Manage contract repository and ensure contract validity
- Coordinator for ad-hoc activities, projects and reporting requirement for Global Commodity Management team
Qualifications:
- University Degree or equivalent
- Minimal 2-3 years strong knowledge/experience of Procurement or Supply Chain
- Discreet and able to handle private and confidential information
- Capability to deal efficiently and effectively with Suppliers
- Proficient with statistics and data analysis (familiar with coding Microsoft SharePoint applications)
- Produce high quality work – good accuracy, effective and consistent
- Good command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel (VBA / Macros) and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in Power BI (is an advantage)
- Effective in communicating and collaborating with internal and external people
- A team player & strong inter-personal skill
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Must)
