• Warehouse Operations cum Delivery Driver

Job Description:

• Ensure that all warehouse logistical operations and processes run smoothly. This includes inventory level monitoring, proper organization of the warehouse, ensuring standard operation procedures (SOPs) are followed, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, etc.
• Receive and check all incoming goods shipments & prepare outgoing goods shipment for overseas.
• Re-packaging of goods for customers, whenever necessary.
• Ensure that all orders are properly packed and are matched with the correct invoice documents before being sent out for local delivery.
• Ensure safe transportation and timely delivery of goods (including loading and unloading) to customers in Singapore.
• Resolve any delivery discrepancies or customers' complaints in a professional and service-oriented manner on the spot.
• Prepare work reports and other documents related to deliveries.
• Maintain company vehicles in clean and good working condition.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned, including general warehouse duties (eg: maintaining proper organisation, cleanliness, safety standards of warehouse, etc.).

Key Requirements:

• Must have a valid Class 3 driving license, with good driving record and very few traffic violations.
• At least 2 years of warehouse operations and/or delivery driver experience.
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy goods.
• Strong time management skills and self-discipline, with ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good customer service attitude, patient and flexible.
• Able to work independently and also as a team.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Your Role

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Assist the Warehouse Executive in performing smooth warehouse operations, incoming and outgoing systems through the ERP system. Handle incoming and outgoing goods and inventory.
• Maintain good housekeeping. Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse/receiving and distribution goods area at all times.
• Assist the Warehouse Executive in issuing purchase orders to secure minimum or sufficient inventory level and closely liaise with suppliers to ensure the delivery requirements. Expedite timely delivery of spare parts and goods to customers.
• Back up as Driver/Delivery in their absence. Safely transport equipment and goods to customer locations promptly, safely, and courteously.
• Maintain company lorry in good condition, keep driver logs, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Monitors all deliveries to customers to meet their requirements.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with freight forwarders and shipping agents for the most accurate and preferred quotes and destinations.
• Assist the Warehouse Executive in producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics on the level of inventory balance and any physical stock discrepancy to be fixed.
• Take on ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

REQUIREMENT
