Roles and Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for various electronic components and modules.
• Assist in R&D by suggesting new technologies and selecting components.
• Oversee procurement processes for quality, cost, and delivery at NPI projects.
• Optimize product costs through procurement strategies and negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
• Facilitate design-to-cost and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support in managing material orders, deliveries, and engineering changes.
• Transfer knowledge to commodity managers.

Responsibilities:

• Startup Environment, small & close-knit team. Join the enjoyable world of magnets and create your own products.
• Handling of warehouse functions - receiving, sorting and preparing shipments for offline & online fulfilment (required 10% of the time)
• Reasonable IT Literacy - Excel, PPT, Outlook, Emails (required 10% of the time). Opportunity to learn new skills - Asana, Shopify, Lazada.

Requirements:

• 5 days/week, must be open to working on Saturday (rarely)
• Preferred ITE Qualification, though not a must.
• All we really require is commonsense, enthusiasm, reliability & ability to converse and write in English and an aptitude for science (mechanical or electrical applications), problem solving and customer service in a retail setting
• On the job training will be provided
• Highly encourage to study/upgrade further through online courses.
• Possess a valid class 3 driving license and some driving experience.
• Also open for Retirees, matured workers
• Able to carry heavy loads occasionally
• 1 Position available only for a Singaporean. Suits someone who stays in the western part of Singapore.
