Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Seek out sales prospects and increase market visibility within the area.
• Skillfully negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
• Investigate the primary product offerings of suppliers and evaluate their reliability.
• Work in close coordination with the sales, logistics, and testing departments to facilitate seamless operations.

• Min. Diploma
• Min. 1 year of Global Sales & Purchasing experience, preferably have prior experience liaising with system integrators, hardware manufacturers, or maintenance service providers (IT hardware trading, IT asset recycling, and IT maintenance services) to penetrate Used IT equipment and electronic waste market
• Candidates with experience in recycling companies will be given priority
• Proficiency in creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations
• Possession of a driver's license is preferred but not mandatory
• Able to travel when required

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform office administrative works to support the team.

Responsibilities of the Job:

• Immediate handling of incoming vessel purchase orders
• Send orders to appropriate suppliers for quotes.
• Price negotiations and order follow-up with suppliers
• Evaluate incoming quotations and confirm supplier selection following Superintendent/Technical Manager or higher authority permission.
• To work closely with the warehouse and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Send instructions to the supplier.
• Keep the vessels and Vessel Managers informed of any delivery.
• Contact with the port agents of the vessel
• Clearance through customs
• Based on the practical arrangements made by the Vessel Manager, make the necessary official bookings for service and repairs.
• Maintain and update the supplier's database across many platforms.

Requirements for the Position:

• A self-motivated worker with at least three years of experience in the marine industry is required.
• Have initiative and the ability to multitask
  resourceful and skilled at negotiating
• IT savvy
• Capable at working with ERP

Job Responsibilities

• Sourcing/negotiation with various suppliers and subcontractors from company’s vender’s list for pricing/quality/service, to ensure cost competitiveness and service to meet company requirement;
• Keep update of purchase order into company costing system;
• Make monthly purchase report;
• Update vender list of suppliers and subcontractors, build up and update direct contact with local and overseas makers;
• Build up and update data base of company production consumables, ship store supply and ship spares for quotation and purchase purpose;
• Prepare documents including delivery order and apply related permits for ship’s repairs at request;
• Assist for operations arrangement, such as coordination with ship’s agent, superintendent, sub-contractors and our repair team for daily operation if necessary;
• Assist for quotation of ship store and spare supply if necessary;
