Procurement Manager & Sales Support Specialist

Job Description:

1. Execute purchase orders and contracts, and implement purchase procedures
2. Strong knowledge and skills price negotiation, planning and order process
3. Implement and improve the cost reduction and control plan
4. Develop, assess, and manage suppliers, and maintain their relationships
5. Fill in the relevant procurement form, and prepare the procurement analysis (supplier market dynamics and risks etc) and summary report
6. Familiar with raw materials procurement in flavour or food ingredient industry
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
8. Prepare in-depth analysis in support of sourcing strategy development

Requirement

1. Degree in international trade, fine chemistry or related fields
2. 3 years + of experience in raw material procurement (chemical/flavour/food ingredient) and foreign trade related work, familiar with general custom clearance procedures
3. Experience and knowledge in strategic buying
4. Familiar with the import and export operation process, and the policies of the customs inspection
5. Must be familiar with import operations such as bonded warehouse and general trade procedure
6. Work proactively & open minded and willing to learn new skill set
7. Good communication skill to persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders

Organising deliveries, storage and despatches of goods in warehouses.

Supervise deliveries of goods into warehouses and ensure products are accounted for.

Picking and sorting operations are carried out safely and securely.

Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
