Roles and Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for various electronic components and modules.
• Assist in R&D by suggesting new technologies and selecting components.
• Oversee procurement processes for quality, cost, and delivery at NPI projects.
• Optimize product costs through procurement strategies and negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
• Facilitate design-to-cost and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support in managing material orders, deliveries, and engineering changes.
• Transfer knowledge to commodity managers.
• Perform tasks as assigned by managers.

2. Goods Handling and Delivery:Efficiently load and unload import goods/cargo into company vehicles, ensuring timely delivery to customers or delivery addresses.

3. Return of Export Goods:Safely load and unload export goods/cargo into company vehicles, ensuring prompt return to the warehouse.

4. Vehicle Maintenance:Take responsibility for the maintenance of company vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for safe and reliable transportation.

5. Housekeeping:Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, contributing to efficient operations and a safe working environment.

6. Accident Reporting:Report any vehicle or cargo damage resulting from accidents promptly and accurately.

7. Cargo Inspection and Handling:Conduct thorough checks, tallying, and proper handling of all incoming and outgoing cargoes to maintain accuracy and quality standards.

8. Safety Adherence:Strictly adhere to safety requirements while performing all tasks to ensure a secure and hazard-free work environment.

9. Proactive Problem Reporting:Communicate any issues or challenges promptly to superiors, ensuring quick resolution and preventing potential disruptions.

skills & experience required

• Master / Degree / Diploma in supply chain / mechanical / electrical engineering or related
• Min 8 years in procurement of tyre rubber and rubber related raw materials with 4 years in management
• Success in implementing procurement strategies and achieving cost savings
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and contract negotiation
