Responsibilities

· Help customers check out their purchases

· Attend to customers' enquiries

· Fulfil orders from online delivery platforms

· Replenish display shelves

· Maintain stock in the storeroom

· Receive and account for deliveries from suppliers

· Maintain cleanliness within store premises

Candidate requirements

1) Singaporean, Permanent Resident (PR), Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) and Malaysian (work permit)

2) Need to be at least 21 years old (by law in order to handle tobacco sales)

3) Humble and willing to adapt to a new culture

4) Physically able - work will involve carrying heavy products

5) Able and willing to work night and overnight shifts

6) Has a personality that sparks joy to co-workers

Location and commitments

· Work locations: Beach Road

· Work week: 6-day work week, 48 hours a week, one off day a week

Various Full-time Working Hours are available :

12am-8am, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am (uMart is running 24 hours)

Part-time positions available for up to 3 times a week, min 4 working hours.

Operations

• Responsible for overseeing people, processes, and day to day operations to ensure that store performs in line with business KPI
• Achieve Business KPIs set by management including revenue, labor and COGS and other expenses
• Analyse store performance to align with business KPIs
• Maintain high level of customer service as per brand standards. Always attend to guest requests and feedback to provide excellent level of customer service
• Manage, direct and co-ordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and pleasant manner by following brand’s SOPs
• Carry out mise en place duties, prepare and present dishes with highest quality to customers
• Manage overall manpower planning, including planning daily duty roster to ensure optimum use of manpower in the outlet
• Serve as a role model to demonstrate excellent behaviour to lead the whole team
• Execute any other duties as requested by immediate superiors

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in F&B
• Comfortable with Microsoft excel, word and Power point
• Pleasant personality and results driven attitude
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and able to take initiative
• Ability to work in fast paced environment

This is a Retail Ambassador role, for which you will provide leadership and direction to a group of team members. Be responsible for driving sales, team management, inventory control, sales promotions and delivering quality customer service.

Job Scope

• Responsible to meet weekly target.
• To provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers
• To possess excellent product understanding
• Manage in store operations (packing of orders)
• Inventory management (Monitor stocks movement, slow/fast selling items, stock checks, Inventory stock in/out), quality checks.
• Working closely with branch Manager, make sure store is fully stocked with product and collection all the time.
• Maintain an excellent service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
• Ensure sales staff's dress code and personal presentation is of the highest standards.
• Visual merchandising (VM) skills are a bonus
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work independently to manage the store and a small team
• Demonstrate initiative and thinking on one's feet to resolve retail related matters
• Comfortable with working with small jewellery bits and jewellery tools and machinery
• Ensure retail team is well trained and updated regularly on product/SOP changes
• Good eye for jewellery and fashion to offer suggestions to customers
• Able to work 5 days a week (including one weekend). Minimum commitment of 6 months.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.
• Singaporean or PR only.
