The Senior Purchasing Executive plays a crucial role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the shipyard’s procurement operations. This position is responsible for leading a team of 2–3 purchasing professionals, overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment for newbuilding, conversions, and repair projects, and maintaining a reliable supply chain to support ongoing construction and maintenance activities. Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 2–3 purchasing professionals by setting clear goals, delegating tasks, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with the shipyard’s objectives. Continuously monitor market trends and industry developments to make informed and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
