This role overseeing the warehouse operations, local distribution, resource planning, P&L and warehouse improvement projects.

Overall Operations Supervision

- Supervise overall warehouse operations including SG local transportation from/to Company’s warehouse(s)

- Establish and monitor the basic practice and implementation such as MHE pre-inspection, daily-walk-about in the respective work environment with the support from section leads below SLM

- Supervise and monitor WSH monthly reports and take a lead to close any negative findings.

- Receive an external or/and internal escalation upon any deviation or potential risk of deviation from the set KPIs.

- Provide the respective section leads with the relevant guidance and direction whereby how to adjust, correct, or upgrade daily operations.

Overall Operations Projects Supervision

- Delegate the respective task to the respective section leads by determining a schedule.

- Monitor the completion of respective project tasks.

- Receive any escalation from the section leads upon any potential delay or obstacles.

- Provide the respective section leads with the relevant advice and guidance for their clear understanding.

- Schedule and arrange any internal session for internal alignments in case of any potential issues, especially the severe ones.

- Properly and timely escalate the potential risks to the direct superior.

Operations Resource Planning

- Come up with operations manpower resource planning.

- Conduct recruitment interviews in case of additional manpower resources to bring into the operations team.

- Exercise any warning session(s) or termination session(s) related to the respective section leads

Warehouse P/L Control

- Analyse monthly department P/L starting from sales revenue, direct cost, indirect cost up to gross profit with the direct superior.

- Come up with some proposals to improve our sales or/and cost for further discussion and finalisation with the direct superior

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in 3PL Warehouse operations.

- Experience in managing large warehouse operation team

- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environments

- Mature, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

- Ability to motivate & manage a dynamic service-oriented organization.

- Ability to support change in a fast-moving environments & coach organization

- Ability to use the technical skill, process discipline to build & develop service deliverables & capabilities.

- Strong communication skills with customers or / and appointed vendors

About the Role

As the Category Manager you will be part of the TPC IT Sourcing team and will report to the Head of IT Applications Category. You will work closely with both corporate in Telenor and all of the Business Units. As the Category Manager you will be working closely with the Head of Category by contributing to the end to end Category management and strategy development, including sourcing execution, contract negotiation, as well as supplier management processes. Main tasks include:

· Develop comprehensive understanding of the IT Applications category, contribute to end to end category strategy development and perform analysis to support category strategy work

· Collaborate with user departments for preparing and executing the strategy, innovative analysis and proactively addressing procurement needs

· Identify, lead and execute cost saving initiatives that deliver value in the procurement of goods and services for the company

· Prepare and lead TCO analysis during procurement processes and participate in negotiations

· Manage resources and stakeholders in a sourcing process

· Implementation of category sourcing strategy and skilled approach to vendor management

· Ensure compliance with policies, processes and achieve targets

· Measures to review and assess progress, savings, and targets

· Develop and prepare periodic reports on all procurement activities

· Ensure contract management, implementation and follow-up activities

· Understand supply market and perform thorough supplier prequalification for the category

· Maintain an awareness of latest buying techniques and theories and develop application within the company

· Post contract management activities

- Manage contracts and price book relevant to the category

- Handle dispute with global suppliers

Profile

· Strong ability to communicate and interact effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries, internal and external

· Experience with data processing tools, e.g. Excel or Tableau

Qualification and Experience Requirements

· Bachelor degree in Technology, Finance or Business or equivalent. MBA will be preferred.

· More than 5 years in a procurement / contract management / vendor management role preferably with experience in IT Applications area

· Proficient in use of MS Excel, performing data analyses and co-relation and able to produce and draw conclusions based on the analysis

· Broad experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other applications & other relevant tools, e.g. ThinkCell etc.

· Have deep insight into end to end Sourcing process and strategies.

· Have good presentation and communication skills with proficiency in English with ability to influence colleagues and decision makers

Relevant Technology background would be an advantage

Job Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in logistics or Supply Chain Management or a related field

· Experience in managing and leading a team of 60 - 80 workers

· Strong leadership skills –Ability to delegate work, follow up on the results and provide constructive, straightforward feedback

· In-depth knowledge of key principles in operations.

· A hands-on person with min. 2 years of supervisory experience and people management

· Able to ideate and drive projects in fast-paced environment

· Highly organised and able to multitask based on the needs in a fast paced environment.

· Able to identify areas for improvement and initiates new ideas and practices.
