Primary Function:
He/She reports administratively to the Quality Assurance Manager. Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements throughout the maintenance and repair processes of aero engines. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
Working Date: Monday - Fri
Working Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm
Salary: $3-4k
Location: Loyang (Company shuttle provided: Sengkang, Tampines, Bedok, Woodlands, Yishun)
Duties:
- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, maintain, and enhance the QMS in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, FAA).
- Audits and Inspections: Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Prepare audit reports and facilitate corrective actions.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective/preventive actions to enhance quality and efficiency in maintenance operations.
- Documentation Control: Oversee the control of quality documentation, including maintenance records, inspection reports, and compliance checklists.
- Non-Conformance Management: Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and facilitate root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Supplier Quality Assurance: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet quality specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure all quality processes align with industry standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present quality metrics, trends, and reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
Job Entry Requirement:
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within the aerospace industry, preferably in aero engine maintenance.
- Knowledge of Part 145 (CAAS, EASA), SMS (Safety Management System), ISO 9000 standards family (International Organization for Standardization), or equivalent.
- Certifications: ISO9001/AS9100/9110 Internal/Lead auditor.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ CQE) are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies; familiarity with aviation regulations and standards.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
