Murex is one of the leading applications in the areas of global trading, risk management and trade processing and our client is using it cross asset classes, Front to Risk to Back in a setup with multiple production environments and grids, connections to many upstream and downstream systems.
Job Duties & Responsibilities 1. Supports day to day testing activities for implementations for releases. 2. Analyse results of automated tests and follow up on identified issues (regressions, bugs, impacts...) by performing root cause analysis, fixing / adapting the test when relevant and possible, and following up with corresponding peers (Developers and Product Managers) till resolution 3. Standardize and simplify testing procedures and work in conjunction with other teams to delivering quality testing artefacts, enhance current processes and procedures such as automation of manual test scenarios 4. Maintain Test case repository for Regression / Release management releases. 5. Execution of test cases and trade insertion and market operation of various asset classes in Murex system and replicating the business day scenario to do performance testing of system 6. Troubleshooting related to trade insertion and market operation 7. Responsible to interact with users for validation of test automation results 8. Database query analysis 9. Experience in Test Management for Patches / version upgrades in Murex. 10. Work Along with testing teams & working with various technology and business teams to define the test strategy. 11. Contribute to the day to day activities of the team, contribute to feedback and look for improvement 12. Source code management and branching strategies with Bitbucket and GIT Bash
- Mandatory Skills Description:
• Degree in related computing engineering, computer science or equivalent
• At least 8 - 10 years of experience in software testing and automation testing in Murex or related TP systems
• Unified Test Automation Framework (UTAF) experience
• Good Experience in Test Automation, Test Framework Design, Planning & Development
• Good Experience in managing the Functional and Test Automation activities
• Working Knowledge with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Dockers, GIT, SonarQube, Jira
• Working Knowledge with testing tool such as Zephyr, Selenium
• Experience in Unit Test, Integration Test techniques & implementation experience
• Understanding of software development best practices including SDLC, Software Configuration and Change Management, Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
• Preferably to have experience in integration with DevOps & CI/CD
- Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Experience with programming language in VB is mandatory. Other languages like Perl, Unix, Groovy is good to have.
