Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full functions of Compliance and assume the responsibilities of MLRO for the Bank.
- Compile, review and monitor the annual Compliance program.
- Monitor and advise Branch Management on regulatory changes impacting the bank's products and operations.
- Ensure regulatory reports are compliant with the relevant regulations.
- Maintain and update policies related to AML, KYC, CFT, and AFC; provide regular trainings to all staff with relevance to AML/KYC/CFT/AFC.
- Assist with client onboarding by reviewing documents and risk ratings.
- Review financial accounting in relation to IFRS compliance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of compliance experience within a corporate bank, covering various functions of compliance
- Strong knowledge of all MAS notices and regulations would be necessary
- Candidates with compliance certification (CAMS/ICA) will have an added advantage
- It will be advantageous to possess financial accounting knowledge to support IFRS related compliance matters
